On Saturday, October 16th there was a showing of Captain Eric Forsyth's latest VIDEO, "Fiona Challenges the North West Passage"
The night before the fantastic much anticipated 2nd annual Blue Anchor British Car Show, the famous Capt. Eric Forsyth (http://yachtfiona.com/) shared his latest adventure aboard his Yacht Fiona, through one of the most harrowing sailing voyages on Earth at age 78. The notorious Northwest passage has claimed hundreds if not thousands of lives since it's first navigation over 200 years ago by the same kinds of adventurers and pioneers as Captain Forsyth. A man who has circumnavigated the globe several times, chipped ice from Antarctic glaciers into his drinks, ate dinner with the president of countries on the far sides of the world in his yacht Fiona, which he primarily built in his back yard!
As a passionate classic Bentley car collector attending our show, he also shared his driving obsession for sailing to the most dangerous and remote parts of our Earth that most of us will never see, let along hear about what it actually is like to brave the waves of the North Atlantic, battle the crushing ice bergs of the Arctic and fight off polar bears all for the chance to say you made the journey so few have ever lived through.
